Marina Makaron, owner and designer of Marina Makaron Moscow, is a world traveler, designer, mother, blonde, and all around fun woman! She splits her time between Moscow and Philadelphia, but on occasion stops by her flat in NYC. This creator loves working with different fabrics and has built an empire around her colorful silk pieces.

Here’s a video of the trends H&M is pushing this season. The cropped pants and colored leather accessories will be what I wear!
Last night I ate at Sampan for the first time. While enjoying sultry chicken satay I kept noticing light beaming from behind my friend. A frosted glass wall installation that included tree decals and neon lights covered the top half of the wall. Multiple bright colors got me thinking about the craze with neon this past year. I decided to pay tribute to the dying trend with a recap post on bright fashion. Here are some of my favorite images..
The wall that sparked this post. (iPhone didn’t capture the neon well..)
Looking back to the September shows, the ERDEM collection stands out to me. I love the delicate nature of looks 7 & 8. The gloves are precious. Looks 23 & 35 contrast torso against leg length. Cropped tops add to this proportion.
What were your favorite looks and collections from September?
What trends will you be wearing this upcoming season?
