Ok so I normally talk about clothing, but when I saw this furniture collection I had to write a post about it. Love, love, love all of the black leather and gold. If I had a penthouse in NYC, this is the furniture I would use!
First up was an appetizer tasting with a watermelon salad, steamed mussels, and a meatball flatbread!
Then for the main course I had jumbo scallops with mushroom, sausage, & fingerling potatoes in Arbil chili gastrique.. Delicious!
Here’s a Vine with the scallops in it.
Finally for dessert there was an apple tart with house made vanilla ice cream.
I decided to dress funky as it was the first day of spring. And by funky I mean I worn black pants, a black sweater, and then everything else color and printed. Neutral basics and fun accessories.
Here’s my look..
Shirt: Perry Ellis – Sweater: Banana Republic – Pants: Gap – Shoes: 1901 – Neckerchief: Banana Republic – Jacket: Michael Kors – Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters – Gloves: H&M – Portfolio: Harvey – Socks: Target – Scarf: TJ Maxx
Hope you a had a great first day of spring!
There was a fashion show in York last night that my friend Hilary produced. Her store Arthur & Daughters just opened up yesterday and she threw a fashion show to drive awareness. Great job, Hilary! It was a lot of fun and I got to see a bunch of familiar faces from my home town. I’ll post pictures of her show later, but for now here is my look..
Orschel-Read, a London based fashion label, posted new photos to their Facebook account. I’ve been following the brand and appreciate how it has evolved over the past couple years. What caught my attention to this designer was a green croc vest. Now he is showing more reserved and wearable pieces. The zigzag trench has my name all over it.
What look is your favorite?
